The latest edition of the India–Singapore Hackathon brings together top students from both countries to drive innovation, strengthen cross-border learning, and deepen bilateral educational ties
The fourth edition of the India–Singapore Hackathon has been officially launched in Singapore, marking another milestone in the growing educational and innovation partnership between the two countries. The initiative continues to serve as a platform for young talent from India and Singapore to collaborate on real-world challenges using technology and creative problem-solving.
Hon’ble Ministers of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan of India and Mr Desmond Lee of Singapore extended their best wishes to all participants through video messages. Both leaders emphasised the importance of innovation-driven collaboration in preparing the next generation for a rapidly evolving global landscape and highlighted the Hackathon’s role in strengthening the longstanding educational ties between the two nations.

This edition of the Hackathon is jointly organised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Singapore Management University (SMU). The programme is designed to unlock the innovation potential of student communities by offering them an opportunity to work together, exchange perspectives, and develop solutions that address regional and global issues. Through teamwork and cross-cultural interaction, participants are expected to gain valuable exposure to diverse approaches in technology and entrepreneurship.
Launched in 2018 by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and then Prime Minister of Singapore Mr Lee Hsien Loong, the India–Singapore Hackathon has since evolved into a flagship initiative symbolising shared commitment to innovation and knowledge exchange. As it enters its fourth edition, the Hackathon continues to nurture emerging talent, strengthen bilateral cooperation, and inspire students to create impactful solutions for the future.
