ADF troops sharpened operational readiness alongside Indo-Pacific partners during three-week US-led training rotation.
The Singapore Army’s Army Deployment Force (ADF) participated in the 26-01 Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Centre (JPMRC) training rotation in Hawaii from 28 October to 18 November 2025. Hosted by the United States Army, the exercise brought together multinational partners including France, Malaysia, Maldives, Thailand, and New Zealand.
Throughout the rotation, Singaporean soldiers undertook a range of complex missions across challenging jungle and archipelagic terrain. Key training components included drone operations, perimeter security tasks, and coordinated manoeuvres requiring close cooperation with partner militaries. These activities allowed ADF troops to test their capabilities in varied environments that simulated real-world operational demands.

The exercise also provided valuable opportunities for professional exchanges. Soldiers from the participating nations shared operational best practices, compared techniques in warfighting and security operations, and worked together on integrated mission sets. This strengthened understanding of each force’s procedures and enabled smoother coordination in joint scenarios.
By taking part in JPMRC 26-01, the Singapore Army continued to enhance its interoperability with regional and extra-regional militaries. The exercise contributed to deepening defence ties across the Indo-Pacific, reflecting Singapore’s longstanding commitment to constructive collaboration and regional stability.
The ADF’s successful participation reaffirmed Singapore’s focus on readiness, adaptability, and partnership-building as key pillars of its defence posture. The exercise complemented the Singapore Army’s broader efforts to maintain high operational standards and to remain ready, decisive, and respected on the international stage.
