The IndiaAIImpactSummit pre-summit event was held in Singapore, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and artificial intelligence experts to explore the transformative potential of AI in advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

During the event, the High Commissioner of India to Singapore participated in a high-level roundtable discussion themed “Scaling AI for Universal Health Coverage”. The dialogue focused on how emerging AI technologies can be leveraged to address structural challenges in healthcare delivery, including cost efficiency, accessibility, and quality of care.

Participants exchanged views on the role of AI-driven solutions in improving diagnostics, expanding healthcare access to underserved communities, and strengthening health systems through data-led decision-making. The discussion also highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration to ensure that technological innovation aligns with public health priorities.

The pre-summit roundtable was jointly organised by the High Commission of India in Singapore, Crowell Global Advisors, and AmCham Singapore, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering dialogue between governments, businesses, and technology stakeholders.

The event formed part of broader engagement activities leading up to the IndiaAIImpactSummit 2026, reinforcing India’s growing focus on responsible AI development and its application in key sectors such as healthcare. Government-linked institutions including the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Press Information Bureau, MyGovIndia, INDIAai, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India continue to play a central role in promoting AI-led innovation through policy coordination and public engagement.
