A key announcement at the Summit was Singapore’s plan to establish the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS). Speaking at the event, Tan See Leng, Minister-in-charge of Energy, Science and Technology, said that NSAS would build on the strong foundations laid by OSTIn, further strengthening research and development, industry growth, and international partnerships. The new agency would leverage Singapore’s established strengths in artificial intelligence, aerospace, microelectronics, and precision engineering.
