
The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore hosted a community gathering aimed at strengthening unity among Indonesians living in Singapore, while reinforcing the role of the diaspora in supporting Indonesia–Singapore relations.

In a warm and inclusive atmosphere, the event brought together Indonesians from diverse backgrounds, reflecting a shared sense of togetherness and mutual support. The gathering highlighted the importance of collaboration within the diaspora, positioning the community as a key bridge in fostering people-to-people ties between Indonesia and Singapore.

The event, held on 7 February 2026, was organised by the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore and attended by Home Staff of the KBRI Singapore as well as representatives from various Indonesian diaspora communities. It served as a platform for engagement and dialogue, encouraging closer connections across different groups.
Proceedings began with introductions and informal interactions, allowing participants to exchange views and experiences. The setting enabled open communication between embassy representatives and community members, contributing to a constructive and collegial environment.
During the session, the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, interacted directly with attendees, sharing perspectives and reaffirming the value of unity and networking among Indonesians abroad. The gathering underscored a collective commitment to upholding Indonesia’s good name and contributing positively to bilateral relations in the host country.
