
Meetings in Singapore focused on sovereign investments, infrastructure development and technical education partnerships to support Uttar Pradesh’s long-term growth
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a series of engagements in Singapore aimed at strengthening investment ties and skills collaboration. During a meeting with Teo Chee Hean, Chairman of Temasek, discussions centred on opportunities for sovereign investment participation in Uttar Pradesh, particularly across data centres, logistics hubs, renewable energy and industrial infrastructure. The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s policy framework and fast-track clearance mechanisms designed to facilitate global investors.



In a separate meeting, Mr Adityanath met Lim Chow Kiat, Chief Executive Officer of GIC, along with his delegation. The discussions explored avenues for long-term institutional investments in Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on infrastructure, logistics, industrial parks and sustainable urban development projects. Mr Adityanath also acknowledged GIC’s existing partnerships in the state, including its association with IRB on the Ganga Expressway project and its collaboration with Greenko.


He also had a meeting with Ms. Tan Su Shan, Chief Executive Officer, DBS Group, along with her senior leadership team. They discussed strengthening financial cooperation, facilitating project financing and supporting investment flows into infrastructure and growth sectors in Uttar Pradesh

As part of his visit, the Chief Minister also toured Institute of Technical Education (ITE) headquarters and ITE College Central. He held detailed discussions with ITE Education Services on collaboration in technical and vocational education and training, particularly in aviation, logistics, advanced manufacturing and data centre operations, with the aim of strengthening workforce readiness in Uttar Pradesh.

The visit included a review of ITE’s skills development and training programmes, as well as a tour of the Aviation Hub facilities to gain insights into industry-integrated training models. Mr Adityanath witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding to enhance cooperation in technical and vocational education, aviation skills and industry-aligned training, and assured that Uttar Pradesh would work towards their early implementation to support the state’s expanding infrastructure and employment ecosystem.
