The training programme brought together 137 Thai labour volunteers who play a key role in supporting the Embassy’s outreach efforts and strengthening community connections among Thai nationals living and working in Singapore. Participants received briefings on consular services and key regulations relevant to Thai workers residing in the country.
During the programme, Embassy officials highlighted the contributions of labour volunteers in facilitating communication between the Thai community and the Embassy, as well as assisting in disseminating important information related to welfare, employment regulations, and consular services.
In addition to the briefings, participants attended a session on wellbeing and mindfulness conducted by Ravissada Apiputhanayut, a physiatrist and rehabilitation doctor. The session provided guidance on maintaining mental and physical wellbeing while living and working abroad.
The Royal Thai Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Thai nationals overseas and strengthening cooperation with community volunteers to ensure effective assistance and outreach to Thai workers in Singapore.
