Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office of Singapore, launched the “Let Her Shine! Career Clinic” series organised by Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA). The initiative aimed to empower young women by equipping them with skills and guidance as they transition into the workforce.

The programme formed part of SINDA’s broader “Let Her Shine!” initiative, which focuses on supporting women at different life stages. The Career Clinic was designed to assist participants in navigating early career experiences while building confidence and awareness of professional opportunities.

During the programme, participants engaged in mentoring sessions led by women professionals, alongside workshops and career guidance activities. The initiative also introduced practical components, including professional development resources and industry insights, to prepare participants for employment and internships.

The programme received support from corporate partners, including Wolf & Byrd, which sponsored professional attire for participants, and LinkedIn, which provided premium subscriptions to enhance professional networking and career development.

In remarks delivered at the event, Minister Indranee Rajah expressed appreciation to mentors, partners, and participants, noting that the initiative contributes to building a supportive community where women can grow and support one another in their professional journeys.

The launch underscored ongoing efforts to promote women’s empowerment and workforce readiness, with stakeholders expressing commitment to expanding opportunities for young women to achieve their aspirations.
