
Rwanda’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Tony Kajangwe, met Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Rwanda, H.E. Jaspal Singh, to discuss expanding bilateral trade and investment ties. The meeting reaffirmed both countries’ shared commitment to deepening economic cooperation.
Rwanda’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Tony Kajangwe, received H.E. Jaspal Singh, the Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Rwanda, on Thursday for discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on opportunities to deepen economic engagement between Rwanda and Singapore. Their discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in trade and investment, reflecting the growing partnership between the two countries.

The engagement underscored the importance of fostering stronger commercial links and creating new opportunities for businesses and investors. By exploring avenues for closer cooperation, Rwanda and Singapore continue to build on their shared interest in promoting sustainable economic growth and mutually beneficial partnerships.

The meeting also highlighted the value of continued diplomatic dialogue in advancing bilateral relations. Strengthened trade and investment cooperation is expected to contribute to greater economic connectivity, encourage private sector engagement, and support long-term collaboration between Rwanda and Singapore.
