The discussion highlighted the important role of higher education in enhancing public sector capacity and fostering stronger regional cooperation. By providing access to internationally recognised academic programmes, Nanyang Business School aims to equip ASEAN officials with the knowledge and skills needed to address increasingly complex policy and governance challenges.

The engagement also reflected the longstanding commitment of both the Philippines and Singapore to investing in human capital and professional development. Through partnerships between institutions such as the Foreign Service Institute and Nanyang Business School, both countries continue to support initiatives that promote knowledge exchange, leadership excellence, and closer ASEAN collaboration.
