Eighteen Singapore homegrown brands showcased their designs and products in Seongsu, Seoul, as part of SINGAPORE, a platform supporting Singapore brands in exploring international markets. The four-day showcase gave participating labels an opportunity to reach new consumers, engage industry players and gain market insights in South Korea.

Ahead of the showcase, the participating brands refined their brand stories, product selections and market approaches to better engage Korean consumers. In Seongsu, one of Seoul’s well-known neighbourhoods, the brands presented their products to consumers and industry representatives while assessing market demand and exploring potential opportunities for further growth.

The showcase provided participating labels with direct exposure to the Korean market and an opportunity to understand consumer responses. Through interactions with consumers and industry players, the brands gathered insights that could inform their future market strategies and expansion plans.

The initiative was supported by the Singapore Fashion Council and Enterprise Singapore, which are working with Singapore’s homegrown brands to expand their international presence and promote Singapore’s design and creative capabilities.

SINGAPORE serves as a platform for Singapore brands to introduce their products and creative work to new markets. The Seoul showcase brought together 18 participating labels in a market known for its strong fashion and creative industries, allowing them to test their offerings and build connections with Korean consumers and industry stakeholders.

The initiative highlighted efforts to support Singapore’s homegrown brands as they explore opportunities beyond the domestic market. By combining market preparation with direct engagement in Seoul, participating brands gained practical experience in understanding Korean consumers and assessing opportunities for longer-term market development.
