Malaysia High Commissioner holds introductory call with Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong
Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, paid an introductory call on Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong at The Istana. During the meeting, both sides discussed the state of bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore, including the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.
The introductory call provided an opportunity for the Malaysian High Commissioner and Singapore’s Senior Minister to exchange views on matters of mutual interest. Discussions covered bilateral cooperation between the two neighbouring countries, with particular attention to the JS-SEZ and RTS Link.
The JS-SEZ was among the areas discussed as part of the broader bilateral relationship between Malaysia and Singapore. Both sides also discussed the RTS Link, reflecting continued attention to cooperation on projects connecting the two countries.
In addition to bilateral matters, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin and Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern. The discussion provided an opportunity for both sides to share perspectives on developments beyond the bilateral relationship.
