The partnership between the UK and Singapore in the space sector was highlighted today at the opening of the Global Space and Technology Convention. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat attended the event as the guest of honour and visited the UK Pavilion, where he was introduced to the delegation by High Commissioner Kara Owen. This exchange underscores the strong ties between the two countries in the field of space exploration and technology.
In 2022, the UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council and Singapore Space & Technology Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support space tech start-ups in both countries, further solidifying their partnership.
