Singapore’s Minister for Defence Dr. Ng Eng Hen engaged with counterparts from Thailand and the US at the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue to strengthen defence cooperation.
Singapore’s Minister for Defence, Dr. Ng Eng Hen, met with his counterparts on the sidelines of the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) today, reaffirming strong defence ties and exploring further cooperation.
Dr. Ng Eng Hen held discussions with Thailand’s Minister of Defence, Dr. Sutin Klungsang. Both ministers reaffirmed the robust bilateral ties between Singapore and Thailand, focusing on enhancing defence cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Additionally, Dr. Ng met with a United States Congressional Delegation led by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair, Representative Michael McCaul (R-Texas). The delegation included Representatives Gregory Meeks (D-New York), Young Oak Kim (R-California), Joe Wilson (R-South Carolina), and Joseph Courtney (D-Connecticut).
