A seminar held at Tashkent’s Pedagogical Skills Center aimed to enhance school management and integrate advanced international practices in education

A seminar-training titled “Successful Reforms – High Results” took place at the Pedagogical Skills Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event, conducted in collaboration with Singapore’s “Marshall Cavendish Education,” focused on improving school management systems and applying cutting-edge foreign practices in mathematics and natural sciences across general secondary education institutions.

The seminar was aligned with the presidential decree issued on June 21st, 2024, titled “Additional Measures to Improve the System of Continuous Professional Development for Preschool and School Education Staff,” which emphasised enhancing the continuous professional development system for educational leaders, educators, and specialists. The decree aimed to ensure the system’s effectiveness by consistently upgrading professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. During the event, twenty-two trainers facilitated sessions for 200 participants.

Utilising Singaporean methods, the training advanced participants’ skills in chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics. The program also incorporated artificial intelligence to evaluate students’ mathematics knowledge. Experts highlighted that starting from the new academic year, these Singaporean practices will be implemented in general education schools.
