Singapore, 3 October 2024 – The High Commissioner of India in Singapore expressed appreciation for the cleaning staff of the High Commission, recognizing their invaluable contribution towards maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. In a gesture of gratitude, the High Commissioner felicitated the team, whose efforts exemplify the spirit of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. This event took place recently at the staff quarters of the High Commission in Singapore.

As part of the ongoing cleanliness initiatives, the High Commission conducted a cleanliness drive at the staff quarters. Staff members participated in shramdaan (voluntary labour), promoting the importance of maintaining hygiene and environmental stewardship. Additionally, the High Commission contributed to the #Plant4Mother campaign by planting saplings at the staff quarters.
