Meinhardt Japan marked its third anniversary on October 8, 2024, celebrating with over 150 industry leaders in Tokyo, showcasing innovations and outlining future growth strategies

Singapore, 24 October 2024 – Meinhardt Japan commemorated its third anniversary with a prestigious event held in Tokyo, gathering close to 150 industry veterans, including developers, government officials, technology experts, and members of Meinhardt Group’s Global Board on October 8, 2024,. The celebration marked a significant milestone in the company’s rapid growth and highlighted groundbreaking innovations, reinforcing Meinhardt Japan’s vision for future expansion in the Japanese market and beyond.

The event also served as a prelude to the broader Meinhardt Group’s upcoming 70th anniversary in 2025. With a focus on innovation, cross-border collaboration, and digital transformation, the celebration provided a platform to announce Meinhardt Japan’s continued growth in Japan and on a global scale. Government representatives, including Mr. Low Hon Mun, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Singapore Embassy in Japan, underscored the importance of international cooperation. Leading figures from Japan’s general contractors and design consultancies also attended, reflecting the event’s significance within the industry.

In his keynote address, Dr. Shahzad Nasim, Executive Chairman of Meinhardt Group, lauded the achievements of Meinhardt Japan since its establishment in February 2022. He emphasised the office’s rapid evolution into a first-class consultancy, offering expert services in architectural, structural, and MEP design, backed by the full support of the Group’s global resources. Dr. Nasim also highlighted the growing collaboration between Meinhardt and Japanese companies, leveraging Meinhardt’s global expertise and workforce to address the challenges posed by Japan’s skilled labour shortage.

“We are here to strengthen and expand our collaboration with Japanese companies both in Japan and globally. Our bilingual engineering team, supported by over 6,000 technical staff worldwide, positions us as the ideal partner to help Japanese firms in design, BIM modelling, and project execution,” Dr. Nasim stated during the event.
