The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards will celebrate the remarkable achievements of overseas Indians on 10 January 2025 at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards (PBSA), the highest honour conferred on Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and institutions established by them, will be presented by the Hon’ble President of India on 10 January 2025 during the Valedictory Session of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention. This prestigious event will take place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from 8–10 January 2025, celebrating the invaluable contributions of the global Indian diaspora to society.
The awards are conferred in recognition of exceptional achievements across various fields, including education, business, community service, science and technology, and public affairs. A distinguished Jury-cum-Awards Committee, chaired by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India and co-chaired by the Hon’ble External Affairs Minister, meticulously selected the recipients for 2025.
Among the esteemed awardees is Mr. Atul Arvind Temurnikar, co-founder and Chairman of the Global Schools Foundation, Singapore, honoured for his outstanding contributions to education. Joining him are 26 other distinguished individuals and organisations, representing the diversity and excellence of the Indian diaspora worldwide.
