The Department of Science and Technology (DST) of India and Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) have jointly announced the 2025 Call for Proposals to support research collaborations between Indian and Singaporean scientists. The initiative seeks to promote innovation in Digital Health, Medical Technologies, and Green Hydrogen.
Research teams must consist of one Indian Principal Investigator and at least one Singapore-based public sector researcher. Industry partners are also encouraged to participate on a self-funded basis. The programme supports projects of up to three years in duration, covering manpower, research-related expenses, and exchange visits between the two countries.
The initiative aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation through impactful scientific research and technological advancement, particularly in areas of mutual strategic interest. Selected projects will be jointly funded by DST and A*STAR, with the goal of developing scalable solutions for health and clean energy challenges.
The deadline for proposal submission is 16 May 2025. Interested applicants can find more information and apply via the official DST portal: https://onlinedst.gov.in/Projectproposalformat.aspx?Id=2359.
