Singapore’s poets and international guests gather to celebrate words that transcend borders and generations.
Poetry Festival Singapore returns this July with a new theme — Verse Nation — inviting poetry lovers to gather at the National Library Building from 25 to 27 July 2025. The annual festival will showcase the diverse voices that shape Singapore’s literary landscape and highlight poetry’s power to connect communities across languages and cultures.
Over three days, visitors can expect an engaging programme of readings, panel discussions and multilingual performances. Established local poets will share the stage with emerging talents and international guests, reaffirming poetry’s role as a bridge between people and ideas.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own work, listen to new voices and join conversations that explore poetry’s evolving role in today’s world.
