The cooperation framework will facilitate joint climate initiatives, including emissions mitigation, green investment, and low-carbon development. It is expected to support capacity building and knowledge exchange, enabling both countries to pursue innovative solutions aligned with global climate objectives. Singapore and Mongolia also expressed interest in expanding collaboration in areas such as green finance and carbon markets.

The agreement reflects both countries’ continued commitment to strengthening economic and environmental cooperation. Despite geographical distance, the partnership seeks to enhance connectivity and mutual support on climate policy and sustainable growth. Officials from both sides highlighted that the agreement represents a key step in building long-term resilience and deepening future collaboration.

This initiative forms part of Singapore’s broader effort to work with regional and global partners to accelerate the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future, while supporting international frameworks for climate action and cooperation.
