To celebrate its 60th anniversary and Singapore’s own milestone, Gensler invites the public to co-create the cities of the future through an interactive, immersive exhibition
Singapore, 5 November 2025 – Global design and architecture firm Gensler has unveiled City in 60, an innovative exhibition in Singapore that invites the public to envision the future of urban living. Launched in celebration of Gensler’s 60th anniversary and coinciding with Singapore’s 60th year of independence, the exhibition marks a shared milestone that highlights the enduring relationship between design and nation-building.

Anchored by the theme “60 Forward”, the exhibition looks beyond six decades of design excellence to explore how emerging technologies, evolving lifestyles, and collective creativity will shape the next 60 years of cities. Visitors are encouraged to imagine the possibilities for the built environment, from workplaces and public spaces to resilient, sustainable communities.
City in 60 features a series of interactive and multimedia installations. Using AI technology, attendees can share their visions of the “city of tomorrow,” which are then projected as evolving digital artworks. Over three weeks, these public-generated contributions will form a dynamic, collective portrait of the urban future.

“City in 60 is an invitation to imagine what the future of our cities could be and the legacies we will leave for generations to come,” said Angela Spathonis, Managing Director of Gensler Singapore. “The exhibition encourages reflection on how design shapes human experience and how our choices today influence the communities of tomorrow.”
The exhibition is staged at One Raffles Quay’s Garden Plaza and is open to the public from 3 to 23 November 2025, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Visitors can also participate online by sharing their creations on Instagram via @GenslerSingapore with the hashtag #Cityin60. The most inspiring posts will have the chance to win a S$500 shopping voucher.
Syahzan Kudus, CEO of Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM), the venue sponsor, added: “Our partnership with Gensler underscores our commitment to supporting sustainable urban development and creating future-ready public and workspaces in Singapore’s business district.”
City in 60 offers an engaging, hands-on experience for the public to explore design innovation, participate in creative activities, and take home exclusive memorabilia inspired by the exhibition.
