Singapore continued its evacuation efforts for citizens affected by the widespread flooding in Hat Yai, Thailand, as of 28 November 2025. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), 608 out of 893 Singaporeans who had e-registered or contacted the authorities had either reached Hat Yai International Airport or departed for Singapore.

The Singapore Embassy in Bangkok coordinated closely with Thai authorities to assist affected Singaporeans on the ground. Since 27 November, embassy personnel located and transported 34 Singaporeans from flood-hit areas directly to the airport, ensuring they were able to leave safely despite disrupted local transport routes.

Officials stated that the embassy would continue deploying vehicles to support ongoing evacuation missions. These efforts formed part of Singapore’s broader commitment to safeguard its citizens during emergencies abroad, particularly in areas experiencing severe weather disruptions.

Singaporeans who remained in affected zones were advised to monitor MFA’s official updates closely. The Embassy urged those requiring urgent assistance to reach out through its hotline and emergency contact channels.
