
Working dinner highlights preparations for the fifth anniversary of the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Kao Kim Hourn, attended a working dinner hosted by Wang Qing, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN. The engagement provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on ongoing cooperation under the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The meeting formed part of regular diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening dialogue between ASEAN and its external partners. Discussions focused on developments in ASEAN–China relations and the implementation of priority initiatives under the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).
During the dinner, both sides reviewed preparations for the commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They also discussed key deliverables planned for the year, including initiatives supporting ASEAN’s broader regional priorities and cooperation frameworks.
The exchange reflected the continued commitment of ASEAN and China to maintain close dialogue and collaboration across areas of mutual interest, contributing to regional development and partnership-based cooperation.
