Philippine startups take center stage at GITEX AI Asia 2026 in Singapore
Seven Philippine startups are set to participate in GITEX AI Asia 2026, taking place on 9–10 April 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Showcasing under the Philippine Pavilion, the delegation highlights the country’s growing capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, agritech, sustainability, smart cities, and digital enterprise solutions.

Supported by Department of Science and Technology – Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), the delegation paid a courtesy call on Ms Joyleen E. Santos, Chargé d’Affaires and Consul General of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, on 7 April 2026. During the meeting, she shared insights on Singapore’s startup ecosystem and provided guidance ahead of the event.
Leading the delegation is Ms Marion Ivy D. Decena, Director of DOST-TAPI. The group will join more than 20,000 participants from over 110 countries at the event, widely regarded as one of Asia’s largest platforms for technology and startup innovation.
The participating startups represent diverse sectors, including weather intelligence systems, IoT-enabled agriculture, AI-driven farm management, EdTech platforms, automated grading tools, indoor navigation technologies, and property management solutions. Collectively, they demonstrate the Philippines’ expanding innovation ecosystem and its readiness to engage with global markets.
To further support the delegation, the Embassy, through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Singapore, also organised a briefing session to equip the startups with practical insights into Singapore’s proof-driven and investor-focused startup landscape.
Visitors can engage with the Philippine startups and DOST-TAPI at the Philippine Pavilion, located at Hall B, Booth A108.
