Meeting highlights defence cooperation and regional security discussions between Thailand and Singapore
On 24 April 2026, Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, welcomed Thadawut Thatpitakkul, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Navy, and his delegation during their visit to Singapore.
The visit was held in connection with the inspection and evaluation of the performance of the Office of the Naval Attaché in Singapore for Fiscal Year 2026.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on several key issues, including defence relations and cooperation between Thailand and Singapore. Discussions also touched on broader regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East and developments along the Thailand–Cambodia border.
