H.E. Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Singapore, presented financial support to five Thai associations in Singapore during a ceremony held at the Ambassador’s Residence on 3 July 2026. The initiative reflects the Royal Thai Embassy’s continued commitment to supporting the Thai community and encouraging community-led activities that contribute positively to Singaporean society.

The financial assistance was presented to the Thai Association (Singapore), Friends of Thai Workers Association (Singapore), Association of Thai Students in Singapore, Thai Labour Volunteers in Singapore, and Thai Dance Society in Singapore. These organisations play important roles in fostering unity among Thai nationals, supporting the welfare of the community, preserving Thai culture, and strengthening ties between Thailand and Singapore.

The support is intended to enable the associations to organise programmes and activities that benefit the public while showcasing the values, culture and contributions of the Thai community in Singapore. Through educational, cultural and social initiatives, the organisations are expected to continue promoting greater mutual understanding and friendship between the people of both countries.

The presentation ceremony also underscored the Embassy’s close partnership with Thai community organisations in Singapore. By working together with these associations, the Embassy seeks to empower the Thai community, encourage active civic engagement, and strengthen Thailand’s positive presence abroad.
