The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore organised a Buddhist chanting and alms-giving ceremony at Kanchanarama Buddhist Temple on 28 July 2026 to commemorate the birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King of Thailand. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Singapore, who was joined by officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, representatives from Team Thailand agencies and their spouses. The monastic ceremony was led by Phra Panyadhamvides, Abbot of Wat Ananda Metyarama, who served as the monastic chair. He was joined by nine other revered monks from Thailand and Singapore in conducting the Buddhist chanting and alms-giving rituals.
