On 12 August 2026, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, paid an introductory call on Ms. Ng Boon Yian, Director-General (International Organisations) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on multilateral diplomacy and developments involving various international institutions, with particular attention to the United Nations. The discussions reflected the close and longstanding diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Singapore, as well as their shared interests in addressing global issues through international cooperation.
