The Australian investment firm expanded into Singapore with government support for regional growth.
IFM Investors officially opened its Singapore office, establishing the Australian investment firm’s first presence in Southeast Asia. H.E. Robyn Mudie, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, attended the launch as the firm began its regional expansion from Singapore.
The Australian Government supported IFM Investors’ expansion into Southeast Asia in line with its “Invested: Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040”. The support included an AUD 175 million investment from Export Finance Australia, enabling IFM Investors to deploy Australian capital to finance businesses contributing to economic growth in Southeast Asia.
