The High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore, through the Tourism Malaysia Singapore Office and the Sarawak and Sabah Trade and Tourism Office, partnered with JEN Tanglin Singapore by Shangri-La to present “Rasa Malaysia” from 11 September to 9 October 2026. Held at J65, JEN Tanglin Singapore, the initiative was organised in conjunction with Hari Malaysia and in support of Visit Malaysia 2026–2027.

The event was officially launched by H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore. The initiative highlighted Malaysia’s culinary heritage and regional flavours through a range of food offerings and live cooking activities.

Rasa Malaysia featured an extensive halal buffet, regional specialities and live cooking stations. The programme provided guests with an opportunity to experience Malaysian cuisine while highlighting the country’s diverse culinary traditions and hospitality.

The participation of the Tourism Malaysia Singapore Office and the Sarawak and Sabah Trade and Tourism Office reflected the involvement of Malaysia’s tourism and trade promotion offices in presenting regional culinary offerings. JEN Tanglin Singapore hosted the initiative at J65, providing the venue for the month-long programme.

The event also supported Malaysia’s tourism outreach in Singapore under the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign. Through its culinary focus, Rasa Malaysia presented food as a means of showcasing Malaysia’s cultural heritage and the distinct flavours associated with its regions.

Running from 11 September to 9 October, the initiative coincided with Hari Malaysia and provided a platform for Malaysian culinary offerings to be presented to guests in Singapore. It also contributed to cultural and tourism diplomacy by connecting Malaysia’s food heritage with its wider tourism promotion efforts.

The initiative was presented under the message “Rasa Malaysia. Taste the Heritage. Experience the Nation.”, linking the culinary programme with Malaysia’s broader efforts to promote its destinations and cultural heritage during the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign.
