French Ambassador visited Science Centre Singapore and explored an ocean exhibition on marine ecosystems.
French Ambassador Stephen Marchisio visited Science Centre Singapore and met Ms Tham Mun See, Chief Executive of the Science Centre Board, and her team. During the visit, he also viewed ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples, an immersive exhibition presented by Science Centre Singapore in collaboration with Fondation Tara Océan and produced by Ride FX.
The visit provided an opportunity for Ambassador Marchisio to engage with the Science Centre Singapore and learn more about its work. His meeting with Ms Tham Mun See and her team covered the institution and its activities, while the exhibition visit highlighted issues related to the marine environment and climate.

ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples focuses on the role of oceans in climate regulation and carbon storage, as well as the threats facing marine ecosystems. The exhibition uses a multi-sensory format to present information about ocean systems and the effects of human activity on marine environments.
Science Centre Singapore organised the exhibition in collaboration with Fondation Tara Océan, a French ocean science foundation, with Ride FX responsible for its production. The collaboration combined scientific and educational content with an immersive exhibition format for visitors.

During his visit, Ambassador Marchisio viewed the exhibition and its presentation on the relationship between ocean systems, climate regulation and carbon storage. The display also addressed pressures facing marine ecosystems and the need to understand the consequences of environmental changes.
The exhibition was scheduled to remain open until 3 January 2027 at Science Centre Singapore. Visitors were encouraged by the organisers to experience the multi-sensory exhibition during its run.
The visit by Ambassador Marchisio highlighted an engagement between the French diplomatic mission and a Singaporean science and education institution. It also provided an opportunity to view a collaborative project involving Science Centre Singapore and Fondation Tara Océan.
