Meeting with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

On July 18, 2017, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the EU Commission Federica Mogherini in Brussels.

The heads of foreign offices discussed practically the entire range of issues of bilateral relations, exchanged views on the agenda of the upcoming ministerial meeting in the format “EU-Central Asia” in Uzbekistan.

Abdulaziz Kamilov invited Federica Mogherini to take part in an international conference under the aegis of the United Nations on the problems of ensuring security and stability in Central Asia, which is planned to be held this autumn in Samarkand.

The parties also considered topical aspects of international and regional policy.
