The Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment in Singapore is calling for nominations for the President’s Award for the Environment (PAE) 2023 from 1 February to 31 March 2023.
Established in 2006 and awarded once every two years, PAE is the highest environmental accolade for stakeholders across the People, Private, and Public (3P) sectors that have made significant contributions towards environmental sustainability in Singapore. It aims to inspire greater collective action toward tackling our environmental challenges.
Members of the public are invited to nominate outstanding individuals, organizations, and companies that have made an impact on a sustainable Singapore, in line with the pillars of our Singapore Green Plan 2030. Organizations (non-governmental organizations, volunteer groups, grassroots organizations, etc.) and educational institutions are also invited to submit their applications.
Nominees must possess an excellent sustainability track record and have contributed significantly to sustainable development in Singapore, as well as adopted and promote good environmental practices both within and beyond their organizations.
The results will be announced in the third quarter of 2023 and award recipients will each receive a trophy and a certificate from the President of Singapore at a ceremony to be held at the Istana. The closing date for nominations is 31 March 2023.
