Beond, a new luxury airline based in the Maldives, has revealed Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich as the initial departure cities for its flights to Malé, scheduled to commence in November.

RIYADH: Beond, the newly established luxury airline, has chosen Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich as the launch cities for its flights to Malé.

Beginning November 9, Beond’s first flight will depart from Riyadh, followed by Munich on November 15 and Zurich on November 17.

Sascha Feuerherd, Beond’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement, saying, “We’re pleased to announce Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich as our launch cities. Passengers can expect a premium leisure experience en route to the Maldives.”

Beond, founded in January 2022, is a joint venture by Arabesque and the Maldivian hospitality company SIMDI Group. The airline plans to serve over 50 destinations in 25 countries with a fleet of 30 aircraft in the next five years.

The Maldives, a renowned Asian tourism destination, received accolades in 2022, including “Best Long-Haul Destination” at the UK’s Food and Travel Magazine Reader Awards and “World’s Leading Destination” at the World Travel Awards.
