Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G20 University Connect Finale on September 26, 2023 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, emphasizing the pivotal role of youth in G20 initiatives. He commended the active participation of over one lakh students from various universities, showcasing their dedication to global engagement. The Prime Minister also released four publications related to the G20 Summit in India, documenting the accomplishments and vision of India’s G20 Presidency.
During his address, Prime Minister Modi celebrated recent milestones, including the successful Chandrayaan mission and the launch of India’s solar mission. He also highlighted diplomatic achievements, such as the inclusion of six new nations in the BRICS Summit and a substantial investment pledge from Saudi Arabia. The unanimous adoption of the New Delhi Declaration, he noted, has garnered international recognition.
In addition to these accomplishments, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of clean, clear, and stable governance for the nation’s development journey. He expressed confidence in India’s youth, urging them to actively participate in initiatives promoting cleanliness, digital transactions, and the “Vocal for Local” campaign. The event marked a significant step in engaging the youth in shaping India’s global presence and future.
Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, also attended the event, reaffirming the government’s commitment to empowering the nation’s youth.
