IN a groundbreaking holographic address on 15th November 2023, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. took center stage at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF), a premier gathering that unites over 500 exhibitors from 134 countries. The event, held at the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 15 to 17, serves as a dynamic platform for leaders and experts from diverse sectors to delve into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in financial technology.

Recognizing the imperative to stay abreast of the swiftly evolving Information and Communications Technology (ICT) landscape, President Marcos Jr. underscored the SFF’s role in fostering a sustainable financial sector. Emphasizing the essence of knowledge exchange and collaboration, he highlighted the Philippines’ dedication to nurturing an environment conducive to digital transformation.

The SFF 2023, a convergence of more than 60,000 participants, promises a global dialogue led by experts from finance, innovation, technology, policy, and various other sectors. At the heart of the Philippines’ participation is the grand showcase of the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ brand within the Philippine Country Pavilion. This exhibit, a testament to good governance and comprehensive societal transformation, is the result of collaborative efforts by the FinTech Alliance.PH, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), and the Embassy of the Philippines in Singapore.
