Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong and Minister Mohamad Maliki Osman to represent Singapore at the 34th APEC Ministerial Meeting in San Francisco, addressing key issues for regional cooperation.
MINISTER for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, represented Singapore at the 34th APEC Ministerial Meeting (AMM) in San Francisco, California. The event takes place from 14th to 15th November 2023.
The Singaporean delegation will actively participate in discussions focusing on fostering an innovative environment for a sustainable future, ensuring an equitable and inclusive future for all, and working towards building a resilient and interconnected region that promotes broad-based economic prosperity. In addition to their involvement in the main sessions, Ministers Gan and Maliki will engage in bilateral discussions with their counterparts on the sidelines of the AMM.
Accompanying the ministers will be officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The collaborative efforts at the AMM aim to strengthen regional cooperation and address pressing issues facing the Asia-Pacific region.
