The Hungarian community in Singapore gathered for a special event featuring a presentation by Mr. Gábor Kicsi on water facts, purification methods, and Hungary’s contributions to water management.
ON the evening of 8th February 2024, the Hungarian community in Singapore came together for a special event focused on water, featuring a presentation by Mr. Gábor Kicsi. The event delved into various aspects of water, including little-known facts, innovative water purification methods developed by Hungarians, and insights into Singapore’s water management practices.
Mr. Gábor Kicsi, an environmental engineer with a master’s degree, shared his expertise in water treatment based on membrane technology. He highlighted his experience in designing and constructing water recirculation systems, sewage treatment plants, and water recycling facilities across four continents and various geographical regions. For nearly five years, he has been leading the research and development department of the water technology division of the Veolia group in Singapore.
The event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to learn from Mr. Kicsi’s passion and expertise in water management. The Hungarian community looks forward to future cultural evenings where they can continue to explore the diverse interests and talents of their fellow Hungarians.
