Hungarian Chamber of Commerce Delegation Explores Business Opportunities in Singapore.
THE Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) delegation, led by President Dr. Lászlo Parragh, visited Singapore from February 19 to 21, 2024, with the support of the Hungarian Embassy. The delegation, consisting of representatives from 11 Hungarian companies, marked a significant milestone in Singapore-Hungary business relations.
The visit started with a business seminar and B2B networking event organized in collaboration with the Singapore Business Federation, providing an excellent platform for the Hungarian delegates to connect with the Singaporean business community. A luncheon hosted by Mr. Sándor Fasimon, Vice President of the Chamber and CEO of MET Asia in Singapore, offered valuable insights into Singapore’s economy and business landscape.
A highlight of the visit was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between the Hungarian Chamber and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). These agreements aim to foster closer cooperation between Hungarian and Singaporean companies, paving the way for mutual growth and success.
