ASEAN ambassadors’ warm welcome to Thailand’s ambassador-designate to Singapore Ms Ureerat Chareontoh

H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore, received a warm welcome from several ASEAN heads of mission in Singapore in a meeting on 26th February 2024.

They included H.E. Sengkeo Pouangpadith, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, H.E. Sok Khoeun, Ambassador of Cambodia, H.E. Medardo Antonio Gonzales Macaraig, Ambassador of the Philippines, H.E. Mai Phuoc Dung, Ambassador of Vietnam, and Mr Zaw Zaw Soe, Chargé d’Affaires of Myanmar. Discussions centered on enhancing the already established ASEAN bonds of friendship and strengthening of relationships and cooperation.

Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh have also settled in and is already fully engaged in discussions with key Thai personnel including Captain Thammarat Tiabtiam, Defence and Naval Attaché, Mrs. Natama Koonpol, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Mr. Wutthisak Pathomsart, Minister Counsellor (Labour), and Mrs. Kulpramote Wannalert, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Singapore Office. According to a Royal Thai Embassy social media post their discussions have also included focussing on strengthening Thailand-Singapore relations, with an emphasis on enhancing economic prosperity, strengthening security measures, promoting tourism, and engaging with the public.
