Senator Alan Peter S. Cayetano was accompanied by the Philippine Embassy in his visit to the Anti-Scam Centre of the Singapore Police Force to strengthen anti-scam mechanisms in the Philippines
THE Philippine Embassy in Singapore, in collaboration with Senator Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Chairperson of the Philippine Senate Committee on Science and Technology, visited the Anti-Scam Centre of the Singapore Police Force on 6th March 2024. The visit aimed to provide the Philippine delegation with valuable insights into the Centre’s frameworks and operations, to enhance anti-scam mechanisms in the Philippines.
During the visit, the delegation was warmly received by SPF Assistant Commissioner Aileen Yap, who led the briefing on the Anti-Scam Centre and conducted a tour of its facilities. The visit served as a platform for sharing best practices and exploring potential collaboration opportunities between the two countries in combating scams and protecting citizens from fraudulent activities.
