The US Ambassador’s annual tradition fosters cultural understanding and strengthens ties with Singapore’s Muslim community.

H.E. Jonathan Kaplan, Ambassador of the United States to Singapore, welcomed members of the Muslim and interfaith community to his residence for a buka puasa, or breaking of the fast, with Dr. Maliki Osman, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs & Education, as Guest-of-Honor. This annual tradition, praised by Minister Maliki, signifies a deep respect and commitment to building strong ties between the United States and Singapore’s diverse society.

The evening was enriched with prayers led by Syed Ahmed Al-Attas of Ba’alwie Mosque, creating a meaningful and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.
