Major brands collaborate to redefine tourism and lifestyle attractions on Sentosa Island, aiming for an invigorated visitor experience by 2024.

In a significant move to boost tourism and enhance the lifestyle offerings on Sentosa Island, the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), DBS Bank, and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, May 10, 2024. This new Sentosa Precinct Partnership is poised to enhance Sentosa’s status as Asia’s top island resort and lifestyle destination through a series of coordinated marketing efforts and new attractions.

This inaugural partnership aims to synergize the distinct capabilities of each party, creating a unified approach to market Sentosa. The collaboration includes integrating SDC’s diverse events, STB’s global brand campaigns, RWS’s luxury and lifestyle services, and DBS’s value-oriented customer offerings across key markets like China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

The partnership is set to introduce an array of new experiences across Sentosa, aiming to extend visitors’ stays and deepen engagement. Highlights include the expansion and rebranding of the S.E.A. Aquarium into the Singapore Oceanarium, the Asian premiere of the Harry Potter: Visions of Magic exhibition, and the launch of Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore. Additionally, the Forum at RWS will transform into a trendy lifestyle hub featuring upscale dining and retail options.

These efforts are bolstered by the recent launch of Sentosa Sensoryscape, a unique connector featuring sensory gardens and immersive experiences, linking directly to new and vibrant dining venues. This development is part of a broader strategy to reinforce Singapore’s position as a vibrant destination for both leisure and business travel.

The MOU was signed at STB’s Tourism Industry Conference, witnessed by key figures including Minister Grace Fu, who emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership in sustaining tourism growth and enhancing Singapore’s appeal as a premium global destination.
