A six-day adventure through Penang and Langkawi, highlighting culture, nature, and stunning attractions.
Day 1: Arrival in Penang
On May 6, 2024, we landed in Penang and checked in at The George Penang, a stylish hotel in the heart of George Town. After lunch at D’Tomato Street, Nasi Kandar 786, or Tanah Aina George Town Café, we enjoyed a trishaw ride along the Clan Jetty Trail, soaking in the city’s rich history and culture. Dinner was hosted by Penang Global Tourism in the evening.
Day 2: Penang
The day began with breakfast at the hotel followed by a trip to ESCAPE Penang, a unique waterpark emphasizing nature and the environment. Post-lunch, we explored The Habitat Penang Hill with a TreeTop Walk, experiencing the 130-million-year-old rainforest. Dinner was back at The George Penang.
Day 3: Penang to Langkawi
We departed for Langkawi, checked in at Pelangi Beach Resort, and enjoyed a mesmerizing Sunset Cruise. Dinner at the resort was followed by a relaxing evening at the hotel.
Day 4: Langkawi
The day started with breakfast and a visit to Kubang Badak Biogeotrail, located in Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark. After lunch at Crab Farm, we visited MAHA Tower for photos. The day ended with an enchanting multimedia show at Dream Forest Langkawi.
Day 5: Langkawi
After checking out of the hotel, we visited Langkawi Cable Car & Eagle’s Nest Sky Walk, offering breathtaking views. Following lunch, we explored Atma Alam Batik Village before returning to the hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 6: Departure from Langkawi
We checked out of Pelangi Beach Resort and headed to Langkawi International Airport for our departure, carrying back memories of our amazing adventure.
