Monsha’at, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises in Saudi Arabia, supported 20 Saudi companies in global expansion through visits to the US, UK, UAE and Singapore resulting in key agreements and investor interest.
IN Riyadh on 30th May 2024, Monsha’at announced the successful completion of the Promising Innovative Enterprises Global Expansion Project. The 18-month initiative supported 20 local companies in their visits to the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore, fostering international cooperation in entrepreneurship.
These visits facilitated the signing of agreements between local and international companies, aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial collaboration. The participating enterprises attended various exhibitions, workshops, and specialized meetings with global entrepreneurs and startups. They also visited major technical conferences and international business incubators to expand their access to global markets and increase investment opportunities.
Monsha’at’s project seeks to empower entrepreneurs by integrating them into the global innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The initiative also aims to attract foreign investment into national enterprises and educate local companies about promising international opportunities. As a result, four agreements were signed between local and international enterprises across various fields, and over 50 potential investors expressed interest in startup companies, positively impacting the expansion and global reach of the local market.
