Industry leaders, water experts, and solution providers from around the world gather at the Singapore International Water Week 2024 to discuss the future of water management and sustainability.

From June 19 to June 21, the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Conventions Centre in Singapore was the bustling hub for the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2024 Water Expo. Industry leaders, water experts, and solution providers came together to explore the latest technologies and innovations shaping the future of water management. The event provided a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing through fully attended forums and conferences, offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in the water industry.

One of the key highlights was the Business of Water stage, featuring the India Business Forum, co-organised by the India High Commission and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The forum, opened by H.E. Dr Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India, focused on India-Singapore Collaboration in the Water Sector, highlighting the importance of international partnerships in addressing water challenges. Another significant event was the thematic forum on Bridging Sustainability with Digital Automation in Wastewater Treatment, sponsored by Wilo Singapore, which showcased innovative solutions for sustainable water management.

The Singapore Business Forum, co-organised by the Singapore Water Association (SWA), witnessed the signing of two MOUs to advance cross-border collaboration in the water sector. These included agreements between the Singapore Water Association and the Malaysian Water Association (Sarawak), as well as the Singapore Water Association and the Shenzhen Environmental Water Group, highlighting the commitment to cooperation and innovation in water management. Additionally, the Climate Resilience Forum featured the Netherlands Business Forum, focusing on innovating coastal protection for a resilient future, further emphasizing the importance of global collaboration in addressing climate change and water-related challenges.
