The Ambassador of Mongolia to Singapore, H.E. Mr. Sosorbaram Enkhbayar, and the Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore, H.E. Mr. Seah Kian Peng, met for lunch to discuss bilateral relations and the upcoming 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Singapore, 24 June 2024 – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Mr. Sosorbaram Enkhbayar, had lunch with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Seah Kian Peng. During the meeting, they openly exchanged views on the relations between the two countries, the upcoming 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Singapore, and the development of inter-parliamentary relations.

In addition to Ambassador Enkhbayar and Speaker Seah, Mr. Bilguundemberel Munkhdemberel, Counsellor at the Embassy of Mongolia, and Mr. Stephen Quick, Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Department at the Parliament of Singapore, were also present at the meeting. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and strengthening the diplomatic ties that have connected Mongolia and Singapore for over five decades.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to continue building a strong partnership and highlighted the importance of inter-parliamentary collaboration in fostering mutual understanding and development.
