The 7th edition of ITAP 2024 showcases AI-driven innovations and sustainable solutions, gathering global leaders in the manufacturing industry.

On 14 October 2024, the 7th Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) event opened in Singapore, bringing together over 400 product and solution showcases from more than 30 countries, with an estimated 18,000 trade visitors expected over three days. Themed “Shaping a Sustainable Future with AI-Powered Manufacturing”, this year’s ITAP highlights the convergence of artificial intelligence and sustainability in transforming the global manufacturing industry.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, in his keynote address, underscored the importance of AI in reshaping the manufacturing sector and the need for green solutions to combat climate change. He praised ITAP as a valuable platform for fostering collaborations and co-innovations across borders. DPM Heng also launched the Singapore Workforce Institute of Future Transformation (SWIFT) to equip the industrial workforce with AI and sustainability skills, reinforcing Singapore’s Manufacturing 2030 ambition to boost value-added growth by 50% by the end of the decade.
