At a Business Roundtable in Singapore, Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi extended an invitation to Singapore companies to explore investment opportunities at the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar.
SINGAPORE, 19 November 2024 – The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, extended a warm invitation to Singaporean companies to invest in Odisha, India, and join the “Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025”, scheduled to take place on 28–29 January 2025 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
This announcement was made during a Business Roundtable, jointly organised by the Odisha Government with support from the High Commission of India in Singapore, FICCI, and Enterprise Singapore. The event served as a platform to highlight Odisha’s growth potential, pro-business policies, and opportunities across diverse sectors.
The Chief Minister emphasised Odisha’s rapid transformation into an industrial and economic hub, driven by its natural resources, infrastructure development, and skilled workforce. He outlined key areas of investment, including smart cities, renewable energy, IT and technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Representatives from leading Singaporean firms, industry leaders, and officials participated in the roundtable, expressing keen interest in exploring synergies with Odisha’s growth story. The Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025 aims to bring together global investors, thought leaders, and policymakers to discuss and drive the state’s industrial and economic agenda forward.
Odisha, often referred to as the “Gateway to Eastern India”, offers strategic advantages, including a favourable policy framework and connectivity to major markets. The conclave promises to provide a platform for meaningful dialogues and partnerships that can shape the future of industries in the region.
